Dance & Cancer Workshop

With Denis Niessen

Add to calendar:

Concept

A gentle space where movement becomes support. For an hour and a half, adapted dance provides a breathing space for people affected by cancer, their loved ones, those in remission and healthcare professionals. The body regains its place, its voice and a momentum that soothes and connects.

Teacher

The workshop is led by Denis Niessen, dance therapist. His sensitive and structured approach encourages everyone to progress at their own pace, with respect, attentiveness and kindness.

What to expect

Simple movement sequences, subtle breathing exercises, mobility games, gentle or more intense rhythms depending on each person's abilities. The workshop combines expression, relaxation and self-awareness to offer a moment of fluidity and well-being, carried by collective energy.

Prerequisites

No technical skills required. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of physical condition, experience or stage of treatment.
