Ballet discovery workshop
With Emmanuelle Hubaut
Ballet discovery workshop
Sunday, 16th November from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM with Emmanuelle Hubaut
Workshop description:
Simply observe those who practice classical dance to see that it promotes body awareness and ease of movement. It also allows for correcting poor postures and releasing tension, contributing to relieving pain and preventing injuries.
Ballet is a discipline that can be approached at any age because it gently engages all parts of the body, simply for the pleasure of moving to the rhythm of the music.
No need to be flexible or have a particular physique to start! Emmanuelle Hubaut will introduce you to this beautiful discipline through small exercises at the barre and give you a taste of the basics of classical dance.
About the teacher:
Emmanuelle Hubaut, trained at the Grétry Academy in Liège, received professional training with internationally renowned teachers. After a career as a dancer, she turned to teaching, creating her own school in 1988.
Despite a break for health reasons, she founded the school "Omnibulle" in 2007, dedicated to dance pedagogy for adults and seniors, which today has more than 200 students.
Emmanuelle is committed to making dance accessible to all, especially the elderly and sick. She has notably led a dance workshop for HIV-positive children at CHU St Pierre in Brussels, and is developing other similar projects.
In the framework of our societal impact program, the proceeds from this event will be entirely dedicated to funding projects focused on dance, health, and inclusion. By participating, you play a direct role in bringing these meaningful and impactful initiatives to life.
If you wish to support our initiative, you can make a donation. Every contribution counts and makes a difference in our commitment to the community.
